Since everyone here loves lands end so much - I hate ordering clothes online, but I'd really like to try LE bathing suits. I'm the kind of person who needs to try on 3 different sizes before finding the right fit. So how do returns work? I just had a baby so I don't even know what size I am anymore. Do I pay for shipping on the returns? How consistent is their sizing? If I figure out that I'm a 10, can I safely order 3 other suits in a 10?
You could return them to a local Sears. There is one in Montgomery Mall.

Lands End is pretty consistent in their sizing, but ALWAYS read the reviews before you order to find out if things run true to size.
I don't know about paying for shipping on returns, I just take them back to Sears. You just have to go to the Lands End counter, not the regular checkout. |
ooh, perfect - thanks... theres a sears very close to me!
You do pay for return shipping--it's deducted from your refund. I just return things to Sears--not convenient but it doesn't cost me $7 in gas.
Lands End mail order bathing suits -- here's one time when I ridiculously overbuy, try on 10 suits (sometimes 2-3 sizes per suit), hopefully keep one or two and slither back to the return counter at Sears (and the sales person is always perfectly happy to do the returns).
With bathing suits, they do expect that you will return some.
Op again...thanks! I went to sears and the selection was limited but now I know my size and which things fit. Very helpful.
At the one I go to (Fair Oaks), they give you 10% off anything you purchase in-store that day if you have to do an internet return. Plus, they allow you to stack that with another coupon.
