Looking for a simple South American-inspired cocktail to go with chicken enchiladas for dinner this weekend.
I am thinking something limey-minty maybe or maybe something with fruit. I make a lot of sangria and really good mojitos take more energy that I want to put into it
Any ideas? |
| Margaritas? |
| Yes, margaritias..do you have a simple recipe? |
| no but my margarita recipe is to buy a bottle of sur la table's margarita mix and add ice, tequila and a slice of lime. |
| meant to say NP not "no" in the above post. |
| Margaritas, mojitos, or caipirinhas all fit the bill. Or a gimlet. |
| A little off (wrong continent!) but what about white wine sangria? |
|
Mango margaritas.
Throw a mango, lots of fresh lime juice, tequila, and cointreau into a blender with lots of ice, and you are done. |
|
Tamarind Margaritas
|
| Pellegrino grapefruit and tequila over ice. Easy. |
| Pisco sour |
| Cuba libres made with Mexican (real sugar) coke and lots of lime. Classic. |
| Tequila shots! |
. Nice. |
I agree - tequila shots out of belly buttons. The perfect accompaniment to chicken enchilada and refried beans. |
