Washington School of Ballet auditions

My 4 yr old daughter was not placed in the program for next year after the June audition. However, she loved the audition and will not stop talking about the school. Is this the final word on placement? Or is it similar to preschools in this area where you can call in, get further info, maybe get off the wait list. Thanks!

Enroll her at another school for a year, and then have her audition again next school year. At that age, it is all creative movement based anyway, no matter where you go.

I agree with the prior post. My 4 year old auditioned last year and was not accepted. I put her in classes at Maryland Youth Ballet and she auditioned this year and was placed in Pre-Ballet 2. I think the year of classes made a big difference. I was at the 4-5 year old June audition and there seemed to be a pretty big age range of kids that were just turning 4 to those 5 year olds that would be 6 years old soon.
