I am looking for a divorce attorney that will not cost me an arm and a leg. We have been married for 2 years, don't own a home and I have most of the assets which were acquired before we were married. My has been employed off and on and is currently not working.

The BIA that worked my custody case and represented my child was Mimi Magyar and she worked at Lerch, Early, and Brewer. I've heard she's recently decided to stop practicing law which is too bad bc she was wonderful. I know that firm is good, but they definitely will cost you an arm and a leg. Try Avery and Upton in Rockville. With so few things on the table (no kids?), I doubt it would cost you much. I can pretty much guarantee that they won't try to gouge you.
