firestone rubber roof - opinions?

Anonymous
We have a screened porch on the back of our house and the roof is shot. We are having some work done on the porch and because the roof is "low slope" the repair company suggested replacing the roof with a rubber roof - the said the benefit is less leaks (because all one piece). Has anyone had a rubber roof installed and do you have any opinions? I am wary from an aesthetic standpoint alone but I would like to hear opinions.

Firestone is widely used and totally acceptable.

If you are concerned with aesthetics, use two layers of ice and water shield and then shingle it. No leaks and a more traditional look. That's what we did on the low pitch areas of our new house.
