And I'm nearly 43. I'll probably not get pregnant, right? No offense to other 43 yo's, but that's sort of up there in age to be really fertile, isn't it? We have a 3 year old and not that he wouldn't love a younger bro/sis, I'm not sure I could mentally handle another AMA pregnancy.
Damn tdy's and horny homecomings. |
| Go to the drug store and get plan b ASAP. |
|
Hmmm. Sounds pretty delightful. And just maybe if you were so sure you couldn't handle another AMA pregnancy, you would not have done this?
Maybe you just need to go with it. AMA mom talking here. I am now 45 and I really could not handle another pregnancy. I developed hypertension and though I was fine it was a nailbiter. Ugh. But gosh OP, maybe your heart is not so sure.

| Plan b. super easy |
| Plan B. Grab some condoms for next time or get yourself on some regular birth control (IUD, etc) like a real grown-up. |
| you might! |
Have your DH make an appointment and get a vasectomy. |
|
Why would you be dithering/musing/whatever over whether you might get pregnant when you clearly don't want to be? Plan B from the drug store. Done.
|
| TMI |
| And for the record plan B delays ovulation, it doesn't cause an abortion. Perfect in this case...unless you want to roll the dice! |
Thanks all, I forgot all about Plan B! I actually know very little about it; I've never done any research because I never had the need. So, walgreens/cvs is all that's needed, no call to the doctor or anything, huh? I'll check this out, thank you.

| Any drug store, it's behind the counter. |

You have to ask the pharmacist for it, but it is non prescription.

| Yes indeed, I had a Valentine baby at 43, so if you don't want to take chances, don't take chances. |
| Plan B. And a better plan A, obviously! |
