ISO one piece bathing suit that is REALLY supportive

Anonymous
I am a 32/34 DD and am looking high and low for a one piece bathing suit that has really good support. Last year, the suit I bought from Lands End started out pretty supportive but even with just hand washing and drying it flat, the elastic is shot. I tried on the same suit from LE this year and there is hardly any support. I am nearly 40, 120lbs but with really big boobs for my body and while I am not comfortable wearing a bikini, I'd love to find a suit that will hold my boobs up. At this point, I'll pay a lot for it!

Miraclesuit is the gold standard. You definitely need to try it on, so go to Nordstrom.

Miraclesuit has better support than the Freya or Panache suits.

Tankini a possibility?

I had good luck with a Fantasie swimsuit, I found miraclesuits not supportive enough. I've given up and decided I need a swimsuit with a real bra in it.

Thanks everyone. Yes, a tankini is fine. The one I have from LE is a tankini. I wish the websites would tell you what size the models really are. I highly doubt the models in the photos are a DD. I'll try on a Miraclesuit and if that doesn't work, I'll order a few online.

Coco Reef also makes bra-size swimwear.

I am large chested and always go Miraclesuit with underwire and padding. I just ordered a few from Saks to try on at home -- they no longer sell them in store, only online. Bloomingdale's has them in store, but a much bigger selection online.

Can you get a breast reduction? That sounds awful.

So far so good on this LE one piece:

Panache swimwear is VERY supportive and stays that way year after year. Get the underwired and note that the bands run a bit small.

I have one in an H cup and I found it shockingly unsupportive. It fits, but I avoid too much sudden movement.

Go with Bravissimo. They are great!
