Is there ANYTHING to do near Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte FL with kids?

| 10 days with the grandparents and I can't find a thing on the web about kids activities around there. There was a indoor inflatable playground last year which was great, but that seemed to have closed. I know about the little bird sanctuary near the water and thats it! Help! |

| How far are you willing to go? Sarasota has some awesome stuff for kids (Mote Marine, Jungle Gardens, Shelby Gardens) |
