The appliances in my kitchen are probably from the late 90's / early 2000's. They are an off-white color.
I love the stove. I can control the heat so precisely and I want to keep it. But the handle of the microwave above the stove just broke and I know I need to replace it. Should I also replace the fridge and the dishwasher while I'm at it? They both work ok. The seal of the fridge could be replaced. I get spots on all my glasses and need to pre-wash the dishes that go into the dishwasher. WWYD? |
| Depending on money, I would replace them all with stainless steel. If you have the money, replace them when you get a great deal (they're running huge July 4 specials right now at most places). If you don't replace them when you can. Don't stick with off white. White or stainless steel are way preferable. |
| You can probably get a new handle for your microwave. |
| I would keep what is working. |
| We have had to replace our fridge, dishwasher, and micro since we moved in, and they are all stainless. But I haven't swapped out my range yet, even though we finally renovated. So it is white. hate the thought of wasting it (and the $$) and it blends in with our white cabinets. |
I don't think a white range is that awful. Most people that have electric have black ranges, so what's different about white? |
| Yeah SS will be outdated soon. |
Uh huhh, they have said this for the last 20 years. Stainless servers a utility purpose . Until the professional commercial kitchens change this is here to stay. |
