I need to buy some beach towels, would prefer to order them online. How to choose? Anyone have a recommendation, or at least give me some guidance-- like $10 towels from Target are assuredly sh*t, or $40 ones from Amazon are only 11% better than the $10 ones so why bother?
Thanks! |

I know, online you said. But seriously:
COSTCO. Best towels evah. |
| Restoration Hardware, and they're on sale now. |
| The Costco towels are nice. If you insist on online, the Lands' End towels are nice and are 30% off right now. |
| I was disappointed by my Lands end and PBK towels. |
Yup. This |
| Actually I really like the $10 towels I got at Target in March! Obviously not as plush as $30 towels from somewhere else but they are sturdy and do the trick. Pleasantly surprised. |
No. It doesn't look like they have the beach towels online. |

Depends on the use case.
DD takes Target towels to day camp. The fact that they are thin means they fit in her bag better, and dry pretty quickly. They have lasted a few summers already, so I wouldn't say the quality is terrible. I am rather fond of our Lands End beach towels. There is a difference between the kids' beach towels and the adult beach towels. The kids' towels are a little smaller and thinner. The adult ones are nice and thick, very absorbent and cushy. |
Ok good thing I checked back
|
Love them too! |
agree with this. we have kohls for kids/camp, they are smaller and thinner. we have pb/costco for adults. |
| why not go to a store instead? Then local folks will get paid instead of some Amazon/Zappos sweatshop. |
Really - we have to go there? Maybe because she works 60 hours a week and would rather spend time with her kids rather than traipsing around shopping for stupid beach towels. |
