Was so looking forward to this and now that I have it, I was not ready to try anything. Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind for it - has anyone tried anything good from the cookbook?

| I was underwhelmed too. I made the carrot cous cous and it was kind of gross. Haven't been inspired to try anything else. |
| The French lentils with spaghetti is good, so is the cherry almond cake (yummy!). |
| Only 3 good things in this cookbook?! What a shame for food editors at Washington Post. I know I've clipped a few winners over the years, but this collection sounds sad : ( |
