Washington Post cookbook

Was so looking forward to this and now that I have it, I was not ready to try anything. Maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind for it - has anyone tried anything good from the cookbook?
I was familiar with the grilled flank steak recipe (p. 72) that was a great find from years ago...
Thanks!

I was underwhelmed too. I made the carrot cous cous and it was kind of gross. Haven't been inspired to try anything else.

The French lentils with spaghetti is good, so is the cherry almond cake (yummy!).

Only 3 good things in this cookbook?! What a shame for food editors at Washington Post. I know I've clipped a few winners over the years, but this collection sounds sad : (
