Any tips on how to do this? I cannot hack the full time development life with small kids much more and want to reduce hours/move into a different role. My background is in project management

Nope, moved out of that field into more accounting/bookkeeping work for small companies which is more flexible. Pays less though.

You can go overseas and get great housing and a cheap nanny, but also possibly dengue fever and malaria!
