where do babysitting posts go?

Anonymous
I asked a question today titled something like Tips for Babysitting today and I can't find it in General Parenting. I know it doesn't go in General Parenting but I cannot figure out where they go - Nanny Forum doesn't seem to have many babysitting posts, or at least not that thread. Sorry! Thanks!

We have an entire section for Nanny posts:

Depending on your question, you can try the General Discussion forum or the Employers forum.

No here. It seems odd to delete a babysitting post from general parenting. I do not go to the nanny forums as I have never hired a nanny.but I have certainly hired babysitters and might want to have a discussion about it there.

If you strongly disagree you should at least name the nanny forum something more apt.

The sticky thread at the very top of the General Parenting forum says this: http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/296338.page

That addresses babysitting.

But occasional babysitters aren't nannies and it's a whole separate forum those who don't have or want nannies would think to visit. At minimum the other forum should have a more inclusive title. Otherwise why not let people post about sitting issues in general parenting? Seems like time to re think this policy, I respectfully request!

I just created a new "Babysitter Discussion" forum in the Nanny Forum section. I can't do much about the "Nanny Forums" link because that has to be short and "Babysitter" won't fit. But, at least you know have a specific forum to use:
