Where can we take kids to play in the snow (not ski)?

Looking for a nice hotel, no more than 2 hours away, where they can go sledding, make snowmen, ice skate, etc. Thanks for any suggestions.

Okay, maybe no more than 3 hours away. Considering Wintergreen but would appreciate other ideas.

How old are your kids? Seven Springs is a fabulous resort for families with plenty to do without skiing. They don't have ice skating, that I'm aware of, but have lots of snow (we just got back and it snowed for four days straight), snow tubing for those 4 and older, sleigh rides, an indoor pool, bowling, indoor putt putt and a big game room. We can make the drive in four hours with a lunch stop included. If you don't stop, the drive is a bit over three hours.

Sounds good. I thought their Web site said four hours, but I may have confused them with another resort. I'll take another look. Thanks!
