Kids party snacks that parents will appreciate

Anonymous
Besides the usual pizza/cake for the kids, I'd like to provide stuff that parents would enjoy. Suggestions? We'll probably throw in a fruit/veggie tray, too. This is for a 5-year old birthday, if that makes a difference (probably doesn't)!

Cheese and crackers.

I parent an ES carnivore. Consider slices of salami, rolled ham, roast beef, and turkey slices, buffalo or teriyaki wings.

+1. This with the fruit/veggie tray and you're set. Maybe some chips and dip of some sort, too (salsa, guac, hummus).

We order a few boxes of empanadas. They go down very well with the adults and some kids too.

Check out catering from wegmans. We got some pita sandwiches that were bit sized and interesting flavors.

I did fruit and veggie trays with pizza/cake for my 5 y.o. DD's party and got lots of thanks from the other parents. Super easy!

I served Jamaican curried chicken with rice and peas at my son's birthday party (along with simpler kiddie foods). All of the parents went crazy for it - and so did most of the kids! They came expecting pizza and juice and got a nice spicy hot meal. Everyone had something great to say about the food.

+1 love those!

I also love their pasta salad, the shell-shaped one with olives, feta and tomato. vulgar, right?

It was like this at the last party I attended and I was very grateful (for my kid). Parents weren't served.

rolled up anything inside tortillas sliced up into pinwheels, seems to always be a hit also (pepperoni/cheese, turkey, veggie & feta..etc)
