There is a reason why people say this.

No one knows whether that particular story is real or not, but honestly there aren't a lot of people who have the time to make up stuff on the internet just for kicks.
I could tell you hair-raising stories of inheritance fights over generations, child and fragile adult abuse, imprisonment, even one murder (but police has no proof) from my extended family, but... you wouldn't believe me!
