Your browser tried to load a javascript from a remote server. The URL of the javascript was for a domain that uses Akamai's content delivery network. Therefore, your browser tried to connect to an Akamai server. The URL was also HTTPS, or an encrypted connection. HTTPS requires that the server have a digital certificate that matches the hostname of the URL. In this case, the URL was for one hostname, but the certificate was for Akamai's. This caused an SSL certificate warning.
A shorter explanation is that an advertisement that was being served to you was misconfigured and caused the warning. You should not continue to allow the connection (if that is a choice), but can otherwise ignore it. If you ignore the warning and don't load the javascript, the worst that will happen is that you won't see an ad.

Well, if it is happening a lot, I'm sure it's a pain in the you-know-what. But, if it hardly ever happens, yes, it's nothing.
