Actually, people have died following humiliation - by suicide among other things. And they anonymous cyber bullying has exacerbated this phenomenon. Literally, as social media usage ticked up so have suicide rates. So, yes, needlessly crushing and piling on someone isn’t without impact. This woman was a fake and she lied. But she didn’t steal anyone’s 401k money or stab anyone to death or steal someone’s husband or abuse her kids. She lied. And I’d feel the same compassion for a POC, too, particularly as I am one.

We have no idea what she has done other than the well documented lies she has told for a decade-plus. It was just released that she was involved in YTTP which is a cult. So more and more is coming out about her -- NONE of it good.
