I think there are a lot of cases like this where people thought the rule only applied to non medically necessary abortions, ie, punish the wh0res. It was ignorance, but that's how the Rs like to keep their people - ignorant.

This article is just heart rending. It’s a good example of the way the forced birther states practically go out of their way to force people in the sad circumstances into worse and worse situations. Who is this benefiting? Is this “defending life”? Who is well served, the newly sober mother? The newly sober father? The siblings who were already here? No one believes what he says other than his base. What he says at this point about abortion or IVF or any reproductive issues is of little consequence. He overturned Roe with his SCOTUS picks and everyone knows it. He will have to suffer the consequences which likely include a bigger loss than last time around.
