Club was founded in 1978. If you’re going to troll, at least be accurate.

How many of current coaches will be hired when TSJ FCV takes over?

You mean like they took over this thread?

LoL that poster didn’t get the birth year right.

Will he get the death year right tho? Even the most hardcore republicans at that club are praying that Northam doesn’t call it. Oh, the irony.

You are spending all your time posting on a youth soccer board praying for the demise of youth soccer. Now that’s ironic.

How is that ironic?

Pathetic. They meant pathetic. Perhaps sad.

None, since they will be out of business and looking for jobs themselves...

You don’t have to be a FCV guy to hate Loudoun. Half of Loudoun hates Loudoun.

Based on timing and writing style of other posts on this board, it’s an FCV 07 parent. Same guy was also fishing for compliments for his FCV 07 team in the Jeff Cup Fall Kickoff thread (while also hating on Loudoun). He cannot stand that Loudoun 07 has always been better than his DD’s team. He hates that nobody cares to talk about his kids team.

Soccer in Loudoun County will be better off if both clubs fold.

Now that’s a dumb statement.

No, better to start over and let some new clubs take root. One way or another, like it or not, FCV is on the way out, and Loudoun does very little with an enormous player pool and tons of resources. Generally, garbage training with very few bright spots in terms of coaches.

It’s now obvious the spring robbery PLUS the almost $1 million from PPP was to avoid folding in case there’s another lockdown. Which seems more and more likely as days go by and summer comes to an end and cases keep skyrocketing.

Anyone else concerned to see they’re desperately posting about needing players for boys groups? I did not think this would be the case when I signed up my DS. Can I get my $ back if I withdraw now?

I would go back and read the fine print of anything you signed when your DS accepted a position for the 2020/2021 season (such as it is). If there's no explicit release condition in there, I would be surprised if they would agree to refund your money or release your DS's player card.
