People taking their dogs into CVS, and other places that sell food

Anonymous
WTF is wrong with people? A woman was carrying her little dog around the Upper East Side Whole Foods today as if it were a package! We are in the middle of a pandemic! Pandemic or not, though, there are clear signs saying that pets are NOT allowed! Employees must stand at the door and enforce the policy!

Make sure that you send their head office an email and give them either the store address or the store number which you should find on your receipt.

Old fashioned letters (through the mail) seem to get more response than emails, IMO.

I called customer service with all the info. It's a shame that we have to waste our time placing such complaints!

You don’t have to, Karen.

We have to if we want to stop the defiance and inconsiderateness.

I was at Home Depot this past weekend and a couple brought their German Sheperd in there. It was obvious it was not a service animal.

Some people are entitled assholes. I love my dog but would never subject her or others to a visit to a store.

These dog owners are disgusting.

Dogs are allowed in Home Depot, so the owners did nothing wrong. It’s not entitled to abide by the store’s rules. I take my Bulldog into Home Depot, too.

Take it up with the store.

Or shop elsewhere.

^^wow - It's really okay to allow your dog into home depot?? what if the dog shits and pisses on the floor?

Also, I think humans should be allowed to go to a human store and not be bothered by a large dog like a German Shepherd.

If the dog poops, you clean it up (like you’d do with a kid with incontinence). Personally, if my dog wasn’t well trained, I wouldn’t take her to a store.

If you have issues with it, take it up with Home Depot.

Sorry, but this isn't always the case. I used to work part-time at a Home Depot, and we found dog poop on the floor. I'd be extremely surprised if with the amount of Home Depot's there is in the U.S.A, that it only happened at the store I worked at.

It's true Home depot has this policy. So shop at Lowe's. No one is mentioning the obvious which a PP waiter started at the beginning of the thread. The employees cannot approach these people because they claim it's an emotional support dog and by law they cannot be questioned on the validity of this. NO ONE (except Home Depot, apparently) wants them in there. And yes they are entitled with their little internet purchased ID cards.
