Republicans are bracing for a significant chunk of the conference to vote for Rep. Ro Khanna’s (D-Calif.) and Rep. Thomas Massie’s (R-Ky.) Epstein file disclosure bill once it lands on the House floor.

Republicans expecting mass defections on Epstein vote
Senior Republicans privately believe dozens of Republicans will vote for it, possibly 100 or more, according to five people granted anonymity to speak candidly. Democrats pushing the petition publicly predicted that Republicans would rush to support the measure once it hit the floor.

I believe that’s already been documented.

I'm sort of skeptical on the authencity. These are my reasons: 1) So now we believe a piece of trash like Epstein to be telling the truth? *If* Epstein wrote that, it was with an eye towards blackmailing Trump. This creep was the master blackmailer and knew how to play that game. 2) Ghislaine is planting these well-timed bombs. As pointed in the above theory, leverage to get out of jail free. Doesn't matter if Trump is guilty or innocent. The point is to blackmail him. The crowd Epstein and Ghislaine ran with murdered a bunch of those poor girls, and have threatened the others to get them to stay silent.

I hope Epstein's brother is as outraged as the rest of the country is, and I hope he is cooperating with the victims in their efforts to get justice. Otherwise I'm giving him the side eye.

The recent Jeffrey Epstein emails released by the U.S. House Oversight Committee did not originate from a single source, but rather from Jeffrey Epstein's own email accounts and the accounts of his various associates, lawyers, and journalists he communicated with. These emails were part of over 20,000 pages of documents obtained by the committee after it subpoenaed Epstein's estate.

It’s performative, since they know it will never become law(ie, the Senate, Trump will see to that).

But at least it reveals cracks in the orange clown’s power.

(We have known for a long time that republican votes are based upon keeping their jobs, not their integrity)

Why does this need to go to the senate? It isn't a law, it is a disposition of assets held by and controlled by the House of Representatives.

The NY Times ran hundreds of "but her emails" articles in 2016 and sat on Epstein's emails the entire time.

Why?

Huh? This is about the Epstein files that DOJ has. The House does not have the files.
