Minneapolis is incredibly trans friendly. My trans sibling has lived there, on and off for 10 years (lived 5 years there, moved back to VA but moved back to Minneapolis for the trans community and is there now).

I strongly suspect that the rate of violence among transwomen will be found to be similar to that (cis)men. The statistics are still low but it is something to keep in mind the next time you hear the canard that "transwomen are women".
