| It says Garrison won 28-3 vs SJC on Garrison’s website. Not sure if GFS is that good, or SJC and SSSA are that weak this year. |
Or maybe SJC is pretty good and well-coached. They looked solid today with good structure at both ends, disciplined carry and ride, and very crisp passing. Score was 13-6 with 3 mins left when the Saints went on a too-little-too-late run with draw wins. |
According to the IAAM website/schedule, this was a scrimmage. |
Color me surprised. I did go 1-1 though . That said I have no idea how close the NDP/BI game was. I bought into what I always tell myself not to do - reading too much into a scrimmage (GCS beating SR - I'll put it out there early SPSG will roll GCS). Good for SR. That will be a good matchup with Good Counsel. I definitely overanalyzed a score from a scrimmage and I know better!

It has to be wrong. No way that was the score. |
Don’t be too hard on yourself…lol There are a lot of unknowns for area teams this year. Everyone will likely be surprised by the end of the season. Will be an interesting year full of unanticipated results. |
| The GFS vs SJC score was not 23-3. Their website is wrong. It was a tie game. But with all the SJC nonbelievers , you can go ahead and think they’re “that weak” |
It was a scrimmage anyway...relax people. |
| SJC is solid and has some good players. Tier 2 below GC, Visi and SR (Tier 1). |
GC and SR clear Tier 1. Not clear Visi is best grouped on that level yet. Arguably SJC played SR as well as Visi played GC. Still need more info on Potomac, BI, and PVI, but would suggest that there are five teams in Tier 2 for now: Visi, Potomac, SJC, BI, and PVI Tier 3 will include SSSAS and one or two of the current Tier 2 after they shake out. |
Don’t disagree with any of that… |
|
SJC beats SSSAS 13-9.
SJC was up by as many as 7 during the game. SSSAS made a run when down 7 because SJC girls were tired because SJC doesn't sub. |
It seems Visi needs to get its act together if they want to compete with SR. |
| Well, if thats the case, everyone needs to get their act together. |
