Those aren’t “views” in the sense that people actually played the video and watched it. That just shows how many times the tweet with it showed up on someone’s screen. Twitter counts a view as 2 seconds. It was force fed into the algorithm and posted by everyone, including Elon, multiple times. And if you scrolled past it and it played for 2 seconds, it counted as a view — even if you didn’t watch it. Impressions would be a better word. And absolutely nobody is talking about that batsh!t interview.

What I like about Nikki Haley is that she is very pragmatic. She would not waste time as president getting rid of the Education Department because she knows it would be political suicide. Even Trump knew that. She knows her way around foreign policy and knows that abortion is a waste of time to deal with at the federal level (and I honestly thought most Rs knew that, but I guess not). She also comes off as knowing facts instead of spouting platitudes.

If she's not the nominee, I don't think the Rs have a chance. If they go with Trump, the R party is over. Asa Hutchinson is there to tell us that. Hope someone is listening for the sake of the R party.

She compromised herself too much with the Trump Administration and being UN Ambassador is only part of being able to "know" your way around foreign policy. And the fact she runs away from her heritage is a negative to me.

DP. What on earth are you talking about? She has spoken often about her parents and her heritage. Perhaps for her, her ethnicity doesn't define her and put her in a nice neat little box, as Democrats insist we all do.

He didn’t say that. He said he worked with Seals.

I’ve worked with Navy Seals also, and I’ve never worn the u inform. His statement was intentionally misleading and made to imply that he was in fact a Seal

BS. It was not misleading at all. He was a legal advisor to a Navy Seals unit. Deal with it.

Ideally you guys would sort out your business and field a creditable ticket. If DeSantis/youngkin does it for the party, put them up. I loathe DeSantis for the bullying he is doing in my home state, but at least he is not fully opposed to the constitution. Just put forward a ticket that doesn’t include Trump, pretty please? The man is a danger to our way of life.

Pretty please take your own advice? JFC.

The current Dem ticket is responsible for getting out of COVID, for strengthening NATO, for improving the US manufacturing base including Solar and batteries the GOP candidaates were deriding were all made in China, and has overseen the best GDP growth, the lowest unemployment and the best job growth in the world.

So, ya, we like our ticket.

"Getting out of COVID"?? The vaccines that were produced on Trump's watch got us out of covid, you dolt. And funny you didn't mention the disastrous southern border, the horrifically botched Afghanistan withdrawal, the ridiculously high interest rate, and the absolute decline of once thriving cities. Incredible that you actually believe your own hype.

Interests rates have been incredibly high and I think you millennials are spoiled rotten and want everything free, free, free. My first mortgage was at 12% with great credit.

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was negotiated by Pompeo from the Trump administration. It wasn’t perfect, but at least it was finally done. What you wanted the US to spend another trillion dollars over an additional twenty-years waiting for some US President to pull
The trigger. GTFOH.

The cities began to decline under the Trump administration. I don’t even blame Trump. It was Ms Coronavirus and remote work that began the decline of the cities.

The southern borders - I actually agree with your sentiment. Something needs to be done. With that said, the USA is partially responsible due to our CIA’s active participation in propping up shitty leaders in those countries. And the embargoes and sanctions against Venezuela and Cuba doesn’t help. What do they think those people are going to do, leave.

I'm the PP and Gen X - weird that you would I'm assume a millennial. I certainly don't want everything free, and I'm all for people paying back their own debts. But the interest rate needs to come down if young people are every going to be able to buy a home. The rest of your post is just nutty, especially about the border and the cities - which are declining rapidly because idiot progressives refuse to arrest and jail criminals. JFC.

He reminds me of AAP kids, those who always think they're the smartest in the class. Too bad I agree with a lot of his views, because I would never vote for him.

How has she run away from her heritage?
I think she has acknowledged it pretty readily.

And, while we are at it....just how long to we have to be hyphenated Americans? How many generations are required before you can be an "American?"

EXACTLY. So sick of this insistence from the left that we all identify as... something. No. I don't go around talking about my heritage or my gender or my religion. I'm an American, period.

Agree..very misleading... He was trying to look tough/cool.

It was very misleading but exactly what I expect from him.

No. He said he was assigned with the Seals. What about that is not true? He never said he was a Navy Seal. Anyone who has served would know that. Lots of military serve with units different from their own branch.

The people droning on and on about this are ridiculous. Of course he was assigned to a Navy Seals unit. He was their legal advisor.

"In 2007, DeSantis reported to the Naval Special Warfare Command Group in Coronado, California, where he was assigned as a legal adviser to SEAL Team One; he deployed to Iraq in the fall of 2007 as part of the 2007 troop surge.[41][42] He served as legal adviser to Dane Thorleifson, the SEAL Commander of the Special Operations Task Force-West in Fallujah."

Now if we want to talk about misleading, all we have to do is list the dozens and dozens of outrageous stories (lies) Joe Biden has told.

He didn't use "assigned" in the debate last night. Watch what he said. He clearly tried to imply he was a SEAL.

DP. These are his exact words and completely true:

"I deployed to Iraq alongside U.S. Navy SEALs in places like Fallujah, Ramadi." He was assigned to a SEAL unit, so of course he deployed alongside them. Honestly, you people arguing semantics just sound idiotic. 'God save the queen!'

+1. Military here. No one in the military thinks DeSantis was implying he is a Navy Seal. That’s stupid; his military record is easily verifiable. The PP posting this nonsense is a moron.

+100
The only people twisting his words are the usual LWNJs. He never, ever implied that he WAS a SEAL.
