I am glad that you agree with the Supreme Court. It is not other taxpayer's business what debts other chose to take.

That wasn't SCOTUS' ruling. They held that the executive branch lacked the statutory authority to forgive the debts. The executive branch DOES have authority in certain cases, just not this one. And Congress can forgive all of the debt.

Exactly! The funny part that this executive branch were totally aware of this and still continue to make false promises. Biden continue to blub about his promise even after the SC ruling.

No one takes his blubbering seriously. He’s a clown show.
It’s only when they tell him to sign on the dotted line that is the problem.

The only thing worse than "blubbering" is idiots cheering the decision in furtherance of our broken systems in the US. Have a serious health issue? Take on massive debt and gr broke. Want a college education? Take on massive debts, good luck trying to build a future. The US is the only modern industrialized nation where this stupidity happens.

It is the business of all taxpayers when we're discussing students/grads defaulting college loans or getting their debts cancelled.

And nevertheless, we have millions of people who want to immigrate here and live in this stupidity. You don't see these large crowds on the border with Zanzibar or Danmark, don't you?

All of you blubbering about taxpayers. Taxpayers pay for all kinds of sh!t that you wouldn’t believe. Your precious snowflake tax money is not earmarked fir certain causes and it goes toward a lot of things you wouldn’t agree with if you knew about it. So don’t act like some modest student loan forgiveness was some special type of evil. With all of the disgusting war sh!t alone that is funded by tax money, I don’t know why people have their panties in such a bind over this.

Great deflection. So let’s just keep on keeping on because other places suck more.

Are you all equally mad about billions of taxpayer money being poured into Ukraine or corporate bailouts or do you get more personal gratification out of picking on middle class students and their families?

Ha! Of course they want to come here because they will get free stuff. Meanwhile US citizens must pay for everything themselves, including said free stuff for illegals, and can easily be thrown into crushing debt as a result.

If most other modern industrialized nations can have affordable healthcare and colleges then so too should the US.

I'd agree that it's the other parts of government that are the problem. DoD for one needs far more oversight and accountability. I support strong defense and strong military alliances and partnerships but this crap with $400 hammers and budget rounding errors in the billions of dollars is untenable.

Lol, the corporate bailouts under TARP were in fact loans that had to be paid back. In fact, taxpayers even made money on a lot of them. So yes, student loans should be exactly like corporate bailouts, lol. Pay them back and quit whining.
