Trying to gauge the stylistic differences in these fitness classes, and wondering if anyone can give a summary comparison? I've done Zumba, and like classes that don't necessitate equipment. What are the big differences among these three? Differences in coordination, types of movements, emphasis, etc?
Zumba is the most fun, if you like dancing. It feels like you're dancing and the music gets you going, but you're getting a good cardio workout. I like it the best. I did tae bo for a while--the music is annoyingly repetitive (to me) and the movements are somewhat martial arts inspired (a bit) but its a good workout. Have not tried insanity. I think you could probably try each of these pretty inexpensively or check it out on youtube and decide.
OP, these are all very different workouts. I agree with PP to see what YouTube can show you. I did Tae Bo for a bit and also liked it, but it gets old after a while.
