Michelle's Gown

Love it, love it, love it.

But will someone please tell the President to take off that watch he is wearing with his white tie formal attire?

I'm actually pretty underwhelmed. Would have preferred a brighter color and something sleeker.
Granted she still looks stunning.

In contrast, I really liked her outfit earlier today.

Agree. But all the attention to her clothes is really kind of ridiculous.

I think the president, of all people, should be allowed to wear a watch.

I liked Biden's wifes dress much more - I did not like Michelles dress, however I think her and Obama are awesome!

It's not a question of the president being "allowed" to wear a watch. It's inappropriate with formal attire. (Just ask Miss Manners.) Especially the very casual-looking watch that he was sporting.

Not good.

Was it me, or does Biden's wife needs to spend a little less time in a tanning salon? I thought she was looking a little OC Real Housewives. Other than that -- she has a fabulous figure and looked great in that red dress.

Interesting mix of formal (white tie) and semi-formal (dinner jacket) on the President. I liked it. He's able to carry off that kind of thing in a way that most men are not.

Both Bidens need to spend less time at the tanning salon and dental spa. It's a bit absurd. In contrast, Michelle and Barack always manage to look polished but natural. And they dance beautifully.

Hilarious! You were trying to be funny, weren't you?

What was that bracelet Obama wore on his right wrist? It was visible when he was sworn in. It looked like some sort of a silver bracelet, but did it have some sort of significance? Obama does not seem like a jewelery-wearing man to me. Anyone know?

I thought that was the watch people were speaking of. Since he is left-handed, that is presumably the wrist he'd wear a watch on. BTW, we have had a surprising number of left-handed presidents in the past decades -- Truman, Ford, Reagan (sort of), Daddy Bush, Clinton, and now Obama. That's a very highly represented minority!

The white gown was gorgeous and her upper body looked stunning. But it was not flattering for her lower body because her hips are not slender. It was definitely an "A" but a 90, not a 95 or 100.
