Step parents and tuition

In those of you with blended families with children in private school who pays their tuition does that come from the family account does money that comes from their biological parents pay for the private school and what is the deal is the actual other parents can't afford private school as expensive as the stepparent do your children go to different schools

DH and I have 4 children. 1 is in college, 1 in private HS, 1 private elem, and 1 daycare. The older 2 are his from a prior marriage. Their tuition is paid out of DHs salary. I pay tuition for the younger 2. By age necessity, our kids are in different schools.
