| What is the best BBQ to have delivered for a party of about 50 in close-in NoVA? Would like to have ribs, chicken, sides and have it all be good and taste really fresh/homemade. Thank you for any insights! |
| Rocklands |
| Red Hot & Blue. Saved my butt once when I gave them the wrong date for a party and they still rallied and delivered in no time. I'm forever grateful. |

Famous Daves has the best bbq in NOVA.
Between them and Red Hot and Blue, Famous Daves wins hands down. |
| If you are doing catered bbq you don't want just chicken. You need brisket and pulled pork for sure. Include ribs too if you are up for a little mess |
Disagree. RHB in Rosslyn in much better than Famous Dave's. |
| Kenny's on Capitol Hill |
| We've done RHB for catering several times. Always popular. |
| Famous Dave's I'd better than rhb. Rhb is chewier and dryer |
Agree. The seasonings are off and I think the smoking times are as well. For example, if you cook pork butt and brisket long enough, both will be very moist and just melt in your mouth. Famous Daves is much better at this than Red Hot and Blue. Their ribs are better too, especially the dry rub ribs. Famous Daves is closer to real smoked bbq. |

Backyard BBQ. They will cook it at your house too if you'd like. They being big grills and set them up in the driveway.
Rocklands is also good. Famous Dave's is terrible! |
+1 |
| Rocklands. ... I'm agree up in Memphis. Rocklands is much better than RHBM or Famous Daves. |
| Urban BBQ--don't know if they deliver |
So. Tell me about this Rocklands. We are from another big bbq state and my husband is a very skilled bbq cook, competition level. Famous Daves is the best we have found in this area when we want a quick fix. Is Rocklands a DC or MD place? |
