| Native New Yorker here looking for paper thin crust... any suggestions? |
| It's not paper thin, but Stone Hot Pizza is thinner than the standard. That might scratch the itch a little if no one has any other suggestions. |
| Are you looking for ny-style or paper thin pizza bc those are different. |
| Pulcinella's is pretty good. |
|
The best slices I've found in this area are at Flipping Pizza.
Brooklyn Bagel Bakery in Arlington also has great pizza, but only during the week. |
| Pizza Paradiso in Old Town. |
| Pupatella! I don't think it is NY style, it is neopolitan. But it is very good. |
| Lived in NYC for 13 years, and I'd agree that Flippin' is pretty close to a NY slice. If you want something more like L'il Frankies in the East Village or Franny's in Park Slope, then Orso in Falls Church is great and pretty close to the pizzas I really miss. |
| Flippin' is awesome. |
+1 As someone with grandparents from Naples, this is legit neopolitan pizza. I have no idea if it's similar to NY style (I don't think it is) but it's the real deal. |
Love Pupatella. Closest thing I've had to the real Italian deal in the US but agree that that means it's not really NY style. |
Bluch - that sauce was terrible! Easily the worst "neopolitan" pizza I've had. |
| Valentino's in Alexandria |
It's not like NY pizza, but it's good nonetheless. |
| Joe's NY pizzaria |
