| I'm craving a deep dish, really sauce-y pizza. Does anyone have a place that makes these in or around Alexandria? TIA! |
| Bugsy's, I guess. |
| I can't actually vouch for this, but: http://www.myoldchicagopizza.com/ |

Meh, you can't get good deep dish in this area. Forget going out and order this. You won't regret it.

| Deep dish isn't "pizza." It's an abomination. |
| If you weren't looking for Chicago style, I would have recommended Monterey's but half their pizzas have no sauce, so definitely not what you're looking for. |
|
And thus the great pizza debate begins! |
| I was going to suggest an amazing true NY style place but clearly you can't appreciate good pizza. |

I truly am in love with my wonderful husband, but there is one area where we absolutely have to agree to disagree.
He spent his teenage years in Chicago. I spent my teenage years in Naples, Italy. Nuf said. Go team thin crust! |

I am a Bostonian. When it comes to the deep dish vs. NY, let me say that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Thus, "deep dish" is the devil's work.

| I like Monterey's but don't know if they do deep dish. |
| Bugseys is gross. Vocellis is good. It's take out. |
| Pizza Paradiso on King St. is awesome, but it is NOT deep dish, because that is not pizza. |
| Chicago style is not the only kind of deep dish, folks. You have not lived until you have eaten Detroit style pizza. |
