So the most popular answer to the "which blender" question seems to be Vitamix. But there are a number of variations, even within the C and G series.
Which one did you buy and why? Thanks! |
| The cheapest one I could find. |
|
Consumer reports did a review last year. Ninja (way cheaper but without a lot of the bells and whistles) and Vitamix 5200 did the best.

| Reconditioned 7500 for me. I found this Vitamix comparison page helpful: http://joyofblending.com/which-vitamix-to-buy/ |
How much are they??? |
Costco had them for $375 at the time. They run specials quite often, on the Blendtecs too. |
| I'd buy the cheapest you could find too-- and don't get the dry one. I never use it. |
| They offer refurbs on their site, too. Sometimes the deal is good. |
| 750. Counter height (fits under cabinets). Awesome machine. |
Thanks! |
| Get a reconditioned one. No difference whatsoever, just $100 less. |
| 750. Best purchase ever |
| Reconditioned. I bought mine a few years ago, so it's just the 5200. However I really want one of the newer generation ones because they're supposedly a bit quieter. Also make sure to use a "promotion code" from an affiliate like http://rawblends.com/vitamix-blender to get free shipping or other bonuses. |
