Princeton, NJ-- things to do?

Anonymous
I'll be attending a conference there this summer, and my mom will be coming along with my 5 year old and infant. What's there for them to do in that area while I attend sessions? It could be museums, playgrounds, a pool, a nice place to walk, etc. We will have a car. Thanks.

Grounds for Sculpture in Trenton, walking the towpath near Lake Carnegie, story hour at the Princeton Public Library (much better than Cotsen on campus), having ice cream at T. Sweet's. Train watching.

Also - easy (1 hr) train ride to NYC if you want to take a daytrip. Sesame place is also 15 minutes.

Sesame Place is further than 15 minutes from Princeton - probably about a 40 min drive.

The Howell Living Farm is a nice place to see animals (chickens, horses, cows, pigs) and they have a stream for splashing in:

29 minutes according to Google Maps, but it's my daily commute (PA to Princeton) and I'd say 25 is more reasonable. It's a quick trip.
