| Has anyone had experience buying a used car with high miles and purchasing a bumper to bumper warranty? |
| We don't, but I would warn you against buying a used car with high miles. We bought a 2006 Mercedes in 2010 w/only 20,000 miles. We haven't had any problems with it at all. Did not buy a warranty. |
|
Didn't do bumper to bumper, but the warranty we bought on our 2007 Volvo (bought in 2010) has already paid for itself. On another note, don't buy a Volvo - repairs are a b@$#^%
|
| I have purchased an aftermarked on my Audi. It paid for itself. Shop around! |
| OP here...can you recommend you warranty company? |
| I purchased an aftermarket/extended warranty on my VW when I bought it in 2002. I planned on hanging on to it a long time. And I have. I still drive (and love) it. It was worth every penny to me. |
| We have purchased aftermarket warranties on three different vehicles (American coupe, American SUV, and German sedan) and they have all paid for themselves. |
| Just a warning- the upkeep and maintenance of a Mercedes is crazy. The car is going to cost you way more than you think- even with a warranty. |
