Vegan restaurant options in Arlington

Anonymous
My parents are visiting this weekend and they are vegans. I want to take them to lunch in Arlington at a place that is not too expensive (they always insist on paying the bill), not too loud (my dad has trouble hearing), and has vegan options. I'm thinking about taking them to the Silver Diner in Clarendon. Rustico in Ballston might be another possibility. Any suggestions?

My vegan parents have good luck at Teaism in Alexandria, and Lebanese Taverna. Pretty much any Indian restaurant should be able to accommodate them. Jaleo in Crystal City: veggie paella, & tapas (may have to ask to take cheese off some dishes).

Thanks, pp. Good point on the Indian food. Delhi Daba might be the ticket. I like the other ideas too.

Sunflower is all vegetarian and vegans will do well there too.

There's a Sunflower in Falls Church at 7 Corners - not too far away.

LPQ or Busboys and Poets have vegan options.

Just outside of Arlington is "Loving Hut". It's Vietnamese vegan (yes, that's right!!). Everything is really good.

Like PP, Busboy's and Poets have good vegan dishes too.

I love the food at Busboys and Poets, but to me, it gets loud on the weekends. Sunflower, Teaism, the Pita House (in Old Town) are all excellent. I think there's a Cava Mezze in Arlington, too? I've only eaten at the one downtown, but thought it was very vegan/veg friendly--most Mediterranean food is, too.
