| Totally not the shows style. Eps are weeks apart. Major plot points like that don't happen offscreen like that. |

OP - I was just trying to figure out the name of the movie Pete was watching in beginning on the plane as a further clue to my theory that the plane is going down. Lots of "plane" scenes this episode and "rare plane events" I.e. Pete joining the "mile high club" - recalling his dad died in a plane and going from being scared to fly earlier in the season, to being comfortable/confident enough to have sex in the lavatory.
Then later, the sort of otherwise unnecessary pan shot of passengers at final scene with Megan on board then the stewardess pulls the curtain in the end. I can also see a plane crash juxtaposed against the moon landing in line with the "fear of flying" vs "mile high club" where we could take men to the moon and bring them home safely while "ordinary people" can perish on a commercial flight. |
