What do you use to make Smoothies? I am not ready to buy a Vitamix. Nutribullet? A different blender? Thanks!

Just got a vitamix. Seriously try to get one if you can swing it. Makes a huge difference in the quality of the smoothie. My regular blender was great. Or I thought it was until I got the vitamix.

Ninja. I'd go for the vitamix if you can afford it, though

I used to use a cheapo blender (whatever I inherited from my parents when I got my first apartment), but I got a Ninja last year and love it. You really can't get a smooth smoothie using frozen fruit or fibrous veggies with a standard blender.

I usually just use my regular blender. It works fine.

I make TONS of smoothies. My regular (cheap) blender worked fine as long as I defrosted the frozen fruit I tend to use.

When I started getting lazy and tried to blend it all using the "ice crush" setting, I eventually burned out the motor.

So these days I use a Vitamix, which rocks. I got a "refurbished" one, which saved a bit of money. Love it.
