Amazon Prime keeps suggesting I watch this show. Is it good?

I'd say it's worth a watch. Each season follows the investigation of a crime that mirrors a famous historical crime. The actors are good and the history is interesting.

If you like mysteries, Zen is really awesome.

I like Murdoch Mysteries for the historical context. It's a little slow paced, especially the first season, but picks up.

Not OP but I thought season 1 was good. Season 2 was not worth watching b/c I think they're trying to stretch to theme of "history repeating itself" just too far. Not sure if I'll stick it out through 3.
