| Did anyone watch? I thought it was fairly entertaining until the end. Diane with Florrick-Agos? Alicia to run to state's attorney? It could end up being a good next season, but it all seemed a little contrived. |
|
I watched it. Won't Diane have some sort of non compete clause where she can't bring over her clients if she leaves?
What was the problem with Finn? I didn't quite follow. Something with his sister and bribery charges? |
| Not much of a season ender to me. thats the big ending? will Diane run for office or join another firm? snooze. And I am really annoyed with Michael J Fox. |
| I think Finn is going to be Alicia's next love interest, once she finishes mourning Will. I hope so, anyway. I really like him and am glad he's become something of a regular on the show. |
| Also Finn's gone from being an interesting new character to a really weak and whiny one. |
|
was that the finale for the year?
what happened to alicia and peter? missed an episode or two and they are apart now. |
| I think it's really play out as a show. I doubt I'll watch in the future. |
Peter was awful when Will died - he said some unbelievable crap and Alicia got fed up, said "I'm sorry you wasted your cheating on something that didn't matter to you, but when I cheated, it did mean something" and then she said she was done. She wouldn't file for divorce, but effectively was checked out of the marriage. She gave Peter the green light to do what he wants, just don't get caught and she doesn't want to hear about it, and she'll do what she wants. So that's the arrangement at the moment, though clearly Peter isn't really on board with the idea. That's why the son is referring to them as acting like the Clintons. |
I kind of disagree. The latter part of this season seems to be the start of a really new direction for the show, and I'm looking forward to next season. Alicia's character was getting boring, but there is potential for something interesting. I love, love, love Christine Baranski and her character. I'd love to see more of Diane. |
|
I loved it too. I was worried when Will was killed off - that there wouldn't be anything more to the show, but they've managed to keep it interesting. A couple of underlying themes I love that keep me interested:
the politics and infighting within the law firms. The fighting between the 2 firms the politics story line with Alicia's husband and their dynamic (would love to see them get back together) |
I agree! And I love Michael J Fox. It's like they did with Michael Ealy a few years ago - used a great actor and just made him this really annoying bad guy. I do like Finn and agree with PPs comments re: Diane. I am also interested in the direction next season, now that Will is gone. That opens up a lot of different stories, rather than focus on the same tired love triangle. |
| I thought it was lame. And while I love MJF, I hate him on this show. |
