Any ideas on how to spend this evening in Charlotte North Carolina?

Greetings folks!

I am in Charlotte North Carolina for work, and I'm stuck taking a train that leaves around midnight tonight. Any suggestions on something to do
that is super safe and potentially interesting which wouldn't be more than 20 minutes from the Amtrak station? I will need to check out of my hotel and
am potentially looking to hang out somewhere interesting from about 3 until 11pm.
