| I'm curious as to what people think. I certainly don't know if there is a right answer, but I know it isn't American food. |

Japanese
Just a guess |
| Food from the Caucus Mts countries. Emphasis on fresh, seasonal eating. Animals aren't pumped full of antibiotics. |
| I agree with Japanese, if we're talking Americanized-ethnic, as opposed to genuinely from another region/culture. |
I'm the Japanese poster, and I agree with this. I was thinking in terms of "if I go to an ethnic restaurant, which would have the healthiest food?", not "if I go to a country, mingle with the ordinary people and eat what they eat on a day to day basis . . . ". I'd add Vietnamese to the list. |
American is a nationality, not an ethnicity. |
| I think (well, I hope) that pho is a relatively healthy choice. Now I am sure it is loaded with sodium but it is mostly broth, not that much meat. |
Japanese is high in mercury. |
Not quite. The saslokk (kebabs) are made from very fatty pieces of meat. I do like them a lot though. |
| Greek/Lebanese. |
When I was in Japan everything was fried. |

| Japanese or Mediterranean |
If you are thinking sushi, not so with the sticky rice and salty soy sauce, even though I heart sushi, a lot. You can try sashimi with very tiny bit of soy sauce. |
