Wardrobe on Hannibal

I have enjoyed the um...bold plaid suits that Hannibal and Dr. Chilton wear (or wore in Chilton's case RIP Chilton).

I just noticed that the actor who played Chilton wore a plaid suit in a recent episode of Law and Order: SVU. Are plaid suits IN now? If so, are they just too trendy for conservative DC. I'd like to get my guy into one.

He willingly wore an argyle sweater vest over a dress shirt this winter. I might be able to slip him into a plaid vest if I can find one in this town.

Part of the reason they wore 70s style suits was to make it harder to date. The first few episodes in the first season didn't show much technology if any. No computers on the desks and a 70s style landline phone on Hannibal's desk.

Would have been nice to put SPOILER ALERT in your title, OP. I'm a couple eps behind and had no clue Chilton's number was up. In fact, I assumed the opposite since he was in Silence of the Lambs. Please be careful next time you post the death of a major character.

Chilton died more than a couple episodes ago. How far behind are you?

Consensus is usually that spoiler alerts are only required for the two most recent episodes. Otherwise, everything that anyone posts everywhere needs a spoiler. As in "SPOILER ALERT: Will Graham suspects Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper."
