Disney at Halloween?

We are planning to go to Orlando and Disney for 5 days at Halloween - I'd appreciate any recommendations for things we shouldn't miss, as well as activities we can skip...What are your best Disney Halloween tips??
Also, any other Orlando-attractions you'd recommend? I am skipping Sea World but otherwise open to all kinds of ideas and day trips. Kids will be 10, 6 and almost 4. Thanks! |

We went Columbus Day weekend last year and did the Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom. It's a separate ticketed event. I am certain the tickets are on sale now. The "party" starts at 7, but you are allowed in on the party ticket starting at 4:00. After 7:00 all the day guests must leave. We dressed up as a family and the kids did trick or treating around the magic kingdom. It was a lot of fun. If you are into characters- special characters are also out during the party. For example.... We got a photo with all 7 dwarfs. Pretty neat.
Have you been to disney before? Honestly.... I don't know you will have time for any more than just disney in 5 days. There is A LOT to do and see. |
