good movies (international OK) with soccer theme/backdrop for 10-yo boy?

doesn't have to be like 'field of dreams' for baseball but with soccer as a main element. perhaps something like 'bend it like beckham' but for boys?

Do you mean "about" boys? Because I don't think "Bend it Like Beckham" had a specific audience in mind.

Ok. I'm going to say Goal! The Dream begins - it is rightfully PG-13 so check if you are ok with content - no nudity but there is a scene or 2 of "wild party" frat-house-ish behavior although it is ultimately frowned upon by the film - the eventual message is kind of 'be good. play good. make your dad proud.' A very cliche movie but would probably appeal to a 10 year boy.
