Who views so quickly?

As soon as I post, I see that my thread has 4 or 5 views. How does that happen?

Ha, I was just thinking about this. I always notice it says 3 views immediately.

This gets asked a lot. I am almost completely sure it has to do with Google's spiders. When you post a message, it loads in your browser and your browser makes 4 requests to Google to loads advertisements. Google feeds ads, but also launches indexers to help identify appropriate context-relevent ads. So, the views come almost immediately.
