Need quick help - re. How to cook hamburgers?

Anonymous
Someone gave us one of those Omaha steak boxes and it had some hamburgers. I defrost them yesterday, put some kosher salt and put back in the fridge. What is the best way to cook those? I was wondering if I can broil them? If so, for how long? Should I turn them half way through?

I would rather not make a mess on my kitchen.

BTW - we don't own a grill.

You can broil them for about 3 minutes a side for medium-rare. Try that and then take them out and cut into one to see. Pan-frying might work better with hamburgers...that's what I do when I don't feel like getting the grill ready. I tend to broil steak though.

Do you have a Foreman grill or something similar? Or a griddle pan or cast iron? Those make great burgers.
