Maybe Potomac. Uniforms are middle school only, if I recall correctly. Head of school was formerly principal at TJ, so he is very math and science oriented.

We toured and applied but ultimately ended up somewhere else. A current parent may be able to tell you more.

If you have a girl, Madeira. If you're willing to venture out of Va, you could try any of the boys' schools (if you have a boy, obviously) or Holton, if you have a girl. The single sex schools tend to offer what you're looking for.

Would rather not say, mostly because I don't think it would help you. We were looking for a place for an artsy shy kid, not sports, math and science. Although we applied, it was somewhat low on our list (nothing against P; we wouldn't have applied if we didn't think it was a fine school worth the price tag. It just wasn't the best fit).

Wow. People might know exactly who you are if you answered the question.

Flint Hill has uniforms and is a nice school.

Madeira most definitely does not have uniforms. It is also 9-12 so may not be approriate age wise. But it is a relativey structured school and they are big on discipline - very much a 0 tolerance policy on major scool rules (mainly because of the boarding environment. things kids at other high schools go unnoticed will get you expelled at Madeira). That being said it also focused very much on developing independent minded girls so it may not be what you have in mind - certainly nothing like a VMI or a catholic school.
