Switching realtors

| We are thinking of switching realtors as our contract is almost up and we are not happy with the current situation. Is it OK to start interviewing other realtors before our contract is up so we can have the new realtor ready to go as soon as our contract ends? I'm not sure what the proper etiquette is in this industry. |

Agent here.
Our agreement doesn't lock people in. It can be canceled at anytime via email. Can you just do that and move on? Most agents who do have you sign an agreement don't really log the expiration date anyway. But if you buy a house they showed you within 30 days usually they can fight for the commission. I'd just try to amicably get out asap. |
