| I just got a beautiful designer purse for Mother's Day and I really love it. I've never had a purse like this so my main concern is how to keep it in good condition? Those of you who have a designer purse, do you use it every day, and if so, how do you keep it in good shape? TIA. |
| LV, Gucci, Fendi... which designer purse did you get? |
| I don't do anything special or anything I'd do differently from how I'd care for a less expensive bag. Most designer bags are really well made and don't require any special care. |

I use a designer bag like a normal purse every day. When not in use, I stuff with paper and put it inside the sleeper (cloth storage bag) and store it standing up or laying on its side.
I don't put my bag on the ground if I can avoid it. I occasionally wipe with a clean soft cloth, don't put anything potentially messy inside. That's about it. They are meant to be enjoyed so use your bag and congratulations. |
| I am a bit careful with mine b/c I love it and when it gets messed up I am not happy (I got nail polish on one) Also I keep them forever. I do not set it on the ground if I can help it. I do nt bang it around, when I travel I usually use a travel handbag (smaller and easier to fit into the room safe). Yes, it is very well made, but I have some that are 15 years old and still in very good condition. |

OP here--thanks! (PP, it's a Zac Posen bag.)

I do the same thing. I keep all my bags stuffed with tissue paper to hold their shape. I also place them in their sleeper, so they don't get dusty in my closet. |
